A video clip of a building exploding has been circulating on social media, with claims that it documents an Iranian missile explosion in Ramat Gan. The video was accompanied by the following text: “Today’s documentation | An Iranian missile fell on a building in Ramat Gan, Tel Aviv, without exploding. However, it later exploded during an attempt to dismantle it by engineering teams, resulting in injuries.”

Kashif verified the video via Google search, found it to be old and the claim misleading. It documents the collapse of the roof of an abandoned gas station in Arizona, USA, and was circulated in May 2025, prior to the military escalation between Iran and the Israeli occupation.
Skynews posted the video on 25 May 2025, with the following description: “Firefighters in Tucson, Arizona, had a miraculous escape after a building roof collapsed while they were trying to extinguish a blaze.” The channel explained that the Tucson Fire Department responded to a fire at an abandoned gas station, and quoted officials as saying that some firefighters were on the roof when it collapsed, but they were able to escape unharmed.

CNN en Español also published it on 26 May 2025, with the headline: “Firefighters escaped being crushed by the collapse of a roof of a burning gas station.” The article added that the collapse of the roof of an abandoned gas station in Arizona led to the evacuation of firefighters from the scene.
