The Moroccan Deterrent account on X published a video clip of the moment the Tiger armored vehicle was blown up, claiming that it was a recent attack in the Shujaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City. The video was accompanied by the following description: “Qassam Brigades: We targeted an armored personnel carrier and two military bulldozers in the Shujaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City last week.”

Kashif verified the video clip via the “Invid” tool, and found that it is old and incorrectly linked to the Qassam Brigades’ announcement of targeting an armored personnel carrier and two military bulldozers in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood. The video, which was circulated in July 2024, dates back to the bombing of a “Nimr armored vehicle” in the Nur Shams camp in Tulkarm.
Al-Fajr TV posted the video on YouTube on 4 July 2024, with the following description: “Surveillance cameras document what happened to the Nimr vehicle in the Nour Shams camp, east of Tulkarm.” Al-Arabiya TV also posted the video on its YouTube channel on 2 July 2024, with the following title: “The moment the Nimr armored vehicle exploded after being hit by an explosive device in the Nour Shams camp in Tulkarm.”

On 2 July 2024, the Tulkarm Battalion of the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, broadcast another video of the armored vehicle explosion, which resulted in the death of a soldier, the injury of an officer, and the destruction of the vehicle.
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced on Wednesday, 16 July 2025, that it had targeted an armored personnel carrier and two D9 military bulldozers with two tandem missiles and a Yassin 105 missile near Al-Islah Roundabout on Al-Muntar Street in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City on 7 July 2025.
