News on social media claimed: “News is spreading about the martyrdom of journalist and influencer Saleh Al-Jaafari. God willing, it is just a rumor.”
Kashif verified the information about the killing of Palestinian activist Saleh Al-Jafrawi and found it to be fabricated. Al-Jafrawi posted a TikTok, and a story feature on his Instagram account on Tuesday 1/10/2024, in which he explained that what is being circulated about his killing is rumors, indicating that there is an account that continuously publishes false news about his death.
Al-Jafrawi also published a group of stories on his Instagram account, covering the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip, after the spread of the claim of his martyrdom.
Kashif had previously verified a set of allegations related to Palestinian activist Saleh Al-Jafrawi.
